One-O-One Presbyterian Church works diligently to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities in which we live.
One-O-One Presbyterian Church provides financial, prayer and volunteer support for the Ozark Center of Hope, Inc. , located in The Redeemer Life Center at 307 West North Street in Mountain Home.
The Center is a coalition of churches, businesses, service organizations and individuals who strive to provide services and compassionate care for people in this area. Our united efforts allow us to focus on the problems of families and children, the aging and disabled and the hungry and homeless.
The Center provides financial assistance and counseling for those who need it and often helps them find jobs, transportation and shelter when they have given up hope.
We have been involved in many projects over the years, and we invite you to learn by example how you can help your community together with One-O-One Presbyterian Church.
We sponsor a child through World Vision. Our sponsored child is now 17 years old and we have seen her grow in faith as she has grown taller! Leah resides in Katito, Kenya. She is one of many children in the Katito Area Development Project of World Vision. She attends Our Lady of Lourdes , a boarding high school in Nyeri, Kenya
The small stipend that we send each month provides books, school uniforms and other necessities that will allow her to receive a good basic education. We are exploring ways to assist her by possibly providing advanced or professional education in Kenya.
This is a work in progress and we are quite happy that she is learning to write English. Her letters are a ray of sunshine and we are filled with hope for her future.
We hope to have photos to post very soon.
